Much more is expected from Star Wars Jedi Survivor than its predecessor, the Fallen Order, and it is all geared towards fulfilling vast open worlds with epic boss battles and brand-new mechanics. The lite Souls formula was immensely welcomed by fans and community experiencing as they experienced in a Star Wars universe. There is so much stuff to unpack, so stick around and read about this epic journey. We have exciting new stuff in the sequel to our favorite Jedi outing before it launches in April.
Who is the Mysterious Person in the Bacta Tank?
Each new reveal and trailer show us more about the Star Wars Jedi Survivor story and how immersive this world would be. One of the trailers shows Cal coming upon a Bacta tank in which there is a mysterious individual, and the trailer talks about how the order betrayed him. The trailer and the publishers haven’t shared much about the individual, but most experts share that this individual might be from the Ashani species.
For the uninitiated, Ashan is an inter-rim world whose inhabitants have fought as a code of life and where teachings have survived thousands of years. These teachings we see show glimpses of these in the Crimson and Royal guards in the lore or as the Red Guard under the Galactic empire. These are more commonly known as the personal bodyguards of the Emperor.
We think he is the new villain and a Jedi from long past, as later in the trailer, we see him donning a tunic someone from a high republic era would wear. We are still unsure whether he is the new villain or an ally for Cal. We’ll know more once the game launches.
New, More Interesting, and Dangerous Enemies
Star Wars Games and lore are part of a massive universe of diverse cultures and unique monsters that the Jedi Fallen Order game only touched upon. We will see numerous species, alien classes, bounty hunters, and so much more in this sequel.
We see tons of new enemies in this trailer in just 2 minutes which shows us way more classes of enemies. It expanded more upon what sort of trooper classes and enemy species we would see in the final build. Some of these diverse enemies we see here making the game bigger are as follows:
- Riot scout trooper
- IG Magna 100 guard
- The Stormtrooper
- The KX security droid
- The commando droid
- The heavy weapon stormtrooper
- The B1 battle droid
- The B2 super battle droid
- DT sentry droid
New Mechanics and Ways to Show off Your Powers
The new Star Wars Game is definitely poised to enhance the impressive gameplay and Souls-like mechanics we saw in the Jedi Fallen Order. Just like all successful Trilogies or at least sequels, gameplay mechanics and powers are enhanced and explored to add more value to the sequel.
The Ascension Cabling
This new traversal mechanic is being introduced in the game. With the help of this mechanic, you can climb and shorten the distance to your next destination in the air.
New Mounts
You can now tame and ride new mounts, which you will come across in the game. More will be revealed later, something new to this Star Wars Game. Mounts will allow us to explore the world more like flying down on a winged creature, as shown in the trailer.
Apply Skills Together
Kal can chain different skills together to move across the field or devastate a group of enemies trying to surround him. We could also use the mounts to add to the mix and dominate whatever biome we are in.
New Fighting Stances
Cal will have five brand new fighting stances in the sequel to the acclaimed Jedi Fallen Order Star Wars Game. Each of these styles will be tailored to a specific type of the enemies and fighting style. Like other games, one fighting style against one type of enemy will be preferable and advantageous instead. Like in other games, elemental advantages are a big part.
We, gamers, will decide or explore how it will work out. We must break down the enemies by choosing the best weapon for different fights. This means more strategy will be in the game and will push us to analyze the enemy and their stance and fight accordingly.
New Bosses and Enticing Boss Battles
Fans and gamers have not seen any bosses during the game awards, but the trailer and some fighting being shown may present a possible opportunity for boss battles.
One example we think of from the trailers is the Jendi, known in the lore as having remarkable resilience. They also have regenerative abilities, which may give us a challenging fight or a boss fight. They can live thousands of years at a time because they don’t have any regenerative organs like other species so they may be challenging tasks for players.
New Planets and Locations
Every new game sequel expands on world-building, and Jedi Survivor will expand upon Jedi Fallen Order. In different trailers, we see a library or a hermit’s abode, Khorasan, a jungle-like planet.
The excellent opportunity to see different uninhabitable regions, and biomes, controlled by wildlife or the Order will add more danger and excitement to the story. Many things in the game might point to a larger open world that we have to wait and see. We, as gamers, would love to see more grand adventures, allowing us to immerse in this fantastic sequel fully.
Conclusion and Ending Comments
We would love to see more weapons and combat styles, new enemies, and biomes in the upcoming trailers and reveal before the game’s official launch. We are also excited to see more force powers and abilities in the game to have new ways to kill enemies and progress the story. We are very excited to have more fun in the Star Wars universe.
